Quick pics on recent feasts:

Fish tacos (all about the cast iron skillet and the latest find panko -- Japanese breadcrumbs. also, found organic tortillas which we both agree actually taste better)

Rabbit (tastes like chicken -- wonderfully braised and served with the famous mashers and latest thing to master, cabbage, which is so much more than just for slaw!)

Rudy (as Grams would say, "he's edible")

  1. Love panko, so much better than bread crumbs! Cris has also started to experiment with almond meal when breading fish, for ex--I think you and Matty should try it.

  2. Love panko also. Spread on mustard coated chicken breasts for baked "fried" chicken. Toasted the the panko first with some garlic in a fry pan.
    Cabbage on my mind also. Last night it was sliced choy sum with carrot matchsticks sauteed in coconut oil and red chili paste with rice vinegar. A palpable hit.
